I heard that sellers shipping into Brazil now need to have their customers CPF (tax ID number) on the front of all parcels containing merchandise. This is a number Amazon doesn’t seem to require Brazilian customers to have when making purchases. I was curious about what other Amazon sellers are doing? Sending an email asking the customer to submit the CPF number seems obvious. Unfortunately customers do not always respond to email inquiries. I did a search and didn’t find much online. I ship books less than four pounds from the US to Brazil via USPS Priority mail. Sharing any thoughts or experiences with the new requirement would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
