#1

What is changing?

Starting February 8, 2021, Amazon launches the A+ Content API and updates the Product Fees service for Selling Partner API (SP-API).

A+ Content

The A+ Content API enables you to access A+ Content programmatically and create solutions for Sellers to create and edit A+ Content. This helps Sellers positively influence customer purchasing decisions by providing access to more high-quality content, including 14 content modules types.

Version 2020-11-01 offers these features to manage A+ Content:

  • Find previously published A+ content documents.
  • Create and edit A+ content documents, including uploading and content image management.
  • Manage the ASINs applied to A+ content documents.
  • Validate A+ content documents and applied ASINs, then submit for review, approval, and publishing.
  • Suspend A+ content from the ASIN detail pages.

The A+ Content service API is only available via the Selling Partner API and is available to all marketplaces.

Who is affected?

Developers interested in creating solutions to manage A+ Content programmatically can now create integrations using the A+ Content service.

Product Fees

We have updated the Product Fees service with additional optional input parameters to enable you to programmatically retrieve estimated fees for a product.

Version 2021-02-04 provides these enhancement to better estimate your fees for Amazon fulfilled products (when IsAmazonFulfilled is set to true):

  • ‘OptionalFulfillmentProgram’ can be set to one of 3 values to evaluate the optional enrollment program fees for the offer.
    • FBA_CORE: Default value to evaluate the standard Amazon Fulfillment fees for the offer.
    • FBA_SNL: Evaluates the Small and Light fees for the offer. Small and Light offers reduced fulfillment costs on qualified items. This enhancement is currently available for US, UK, DE and IT marketplaces.
    • FBA_EFN: Evaluates the cross-border European Fulfillment Network fees across EU countries for the offer.

This enhancement is available to all marketplaces.

Who is affected?

Developers with applications that use the Product Fees service to retrieve estimated fees for a product are affected.
