We are starting a new Amazon FBA project with a friend and we are now stuck and do not how to proceed.

Here is a brief summary:

Our friend has an ethical jewelry project in Italy, so far he is selling very well in Italy and Europe ( not through Amazon ) and we decided together to start selling in the US with Amazon FBA…

About 2 weeks ago we helped him creating his account an then we decided to enroll with Amazon Handmade, because we think it would be perfect for this kind of ethical and particular jewelry .

Amazon handmade accepted our application, so then we created our listings and made the very first shipment to USA, which arrived there last week.

While we were waiting for inventory placement at Amazon FBA ( and they are still managing it ) we received bad news from Amazon, telling us that after a review of our listings we could not sell on Handmade. They requested us a list of information so they can review again our application and right now we are still waiting for a response.

If they say again no we will sell on “normal” Jewelry category but here start our troubles…since our products are already at Amazon FBA with their FNSKU related to Handmade, how is it possible to change category and tell Amazom that our products are already at their warehouse? Do we have to create new listings from scratch in the new category ? But then what about the FNSKU? How do we tell Amazon they have to label the products with the new FNSKU ? This sounds a little confusing and difficult for us, so while we are still waiting for the final response from Handmade we wanted to investigate and get some useful information about how we could proceed if they say us again NO and we are forced to change category.
