OrderTotal from OrderItem fields

#1

The OrderItem Datatype has several money fields. I can’t seem to find the formula that combines all these fields to create the order line item total that would be used to sum up that results in the OrderTotal->Amount. Does anyone know the formula that utilizes the below fields?

The fields listed in the API doc are

ItemPrice
ShippingPrice
GiftWrapPrice
TaxCollection
ItemTax
ShippingTax
GiftWrapTax
ShippingDiscount
ShippingDiscountTax
PromotionDiscount
PromotionDiscountTax
CODFee
CODFeeDiscount

I don’t think there is one. I’d just create it in the app you’re writing.

Thanks, I don’t need Amazon to sum these up for me. I can do that as you suggest. I still need the formula. My 300 sample orders all have 0.00 for GiftWrapPrice, GiftWrapTax, PromotionDiscount, PromotionDiscountTax, ShippingDiscount, ShippingDiscountTax, CODFee, CODFeeDiscount. They are not 0.00 due to pending we just have not offered any of those services or discounts for me to analyze the data.

ItemTotal = ItemPrice + ShippingPrice + ItemTax + ShippingTax + GiftWrapPrice + GiftWrapTax - PromotionDiscount - PromotionDiscountTax - ShippingDiscount - ShippingDiscountTax + CODFee - CODFeeDiscount?

Or possibly the discount fields have negatives and you just sum all of the fields?
