Odd "Ineligible to be a Featured Offer on the Product Detail Page"

#1

We have a product that sells for 39.95. It is not eligible for by box because Amazon thinks it should be $10 less. The price we sell is at MAP. There is an ability to place an order, with Amazon being the seller, at the $10 lower price. The listing states that it will be back in stock at Amazon in about 10 days.
But…Amazon isn’t getting anymore of these, because Amazon violated MAP. Sigh…

#2

Amazon often believes a price should be lower because it is being sold for less elsewhere.

Sometimes that is because the product is leaking from the authorized channel and being sold for a lower price, even below MAP.

If the leak persists, you will not get featured status whether Amazon restocks or not. And Amazon has been known to buy products outside authorized distribution channels.
