What is changing?
Amazon is updating the custom Inventory File Template for apparel products, the ProductClothing.xsd, and the ClothingAccessories.xsd XSDs with fields specific to apparel sizes. We will use these new fields to display standardized and consistent size values to buyers on Amazon's retail website.
We updated the Custom Inventory File Template and XSDs for all affected Product Type Descriptions (see 'What additional changes can you expect?' section below) with the optional standardized apparel size fields included. Please note, we will be making these new fields required as of February 15, 2021.
Apparel size fields may differ based on marketplace. For more information, see 'Apparel Product Listing Experiences' in the Seller Central Help for your marketplace.
Feed processing currently supports the optional, standardized apparel size fields. On February 15th, 2021, feeds for creating or updating apparel listings that do not include the new standardized apparel size fields as required will not be processed.
NOTE: For the Brazil marketplace, the date that we will require the new standardized apparel size fields has not yet been determined, and we will continue processing feeds as before.
