As we all know, colors don’t appear on everyone’s PC’s, laptops, iphones etc the same. I sell handmade fabric items on 2 other sites and since I’ve had so many requests in the past, I now offer to send free sample fabric swatches so that potential buyers can actually see the color before they order. Both those sites allow the buyer to provide their name and address thru the message system.

Unfortunately, since Amazon does not allow this type of information to come thru unless the buyer has already placed an order, how do other handmade sellers deal with this type of issue? I never have returns on the other 2 sites due to “item not as described” or “item defective or doesn’t work” with the comment “color not same as in listing picture”.

Any suggestions?
