One of my best selling products hast lost its keyword rank for its major keywords literally in one day. I looked up the keywords rank for 12 of the main keyword phrases for my product and almost all of them tanked in one day. For example, one of the products was either rank 1 or rank 2 for months for one keyword phrase, and then from 9/24/2020 to 9/25/2020 it tanked to rank 159. My other products are fine. This happened to my most popular product and my sales are tanking. I am tracking the history of my keyword ranks using a tool on Helium 10, and on the graphs for each of my main keyword phrases, you can see them all tank in one day. Why did this happen? Is there something broken with the Amazon algorithm? Could a competitor be using black hat tactics to sabotage my listing?

This is happening to everyone right now.
No one is sure why but I’ve been position 1-3 for the past 2 years without any issue and today I completely fell off the first few PAGES.
I’m hoping this is temporary (I’m praying it has to be… the products that are in position 1-3 are brand new with no sales history).
Me too. Top seller for several years tanked starting in September. I’ve tried everything but not sure what to do. I hope it works itself out.

I sent an email to jeff@amazon.com and opened a case with seller support. I’ve increased ads, cleaned up images, optimized the listing, and everything else I can think of. So frustrating.
my top seller lost all amazon choice badge, while asins with less sales still have some sort of amazon choice badge, some kind of system glitch after last week’s issue with the main image suppression. all these updates with amazon website affecting listings, and out of all the asin, it has to be the top selling asin!!!
All ASINs have the same problem, this thing happened from 9.25, now less the sale 1/2.
Hope Amazon can pay attention to this problem, we opended case for support, But seller support just told us there is no problem.
Guys I have sent an email to Jeff Bezos and got reply. One guy from his team said he will be dealing with this problem.
I got an email back from jeff@amazon.com and they told me that my listing is normal and that there is not an issue…
the exact same thing happened to me on those exact dates 9/24 recover on 9/25 then it happaned again today on PRIME DAY… Amazon is doing nothing to help us, we just have to wait.
Did you had this issue after out of stock? Were you listings closed for some period of time before ranking drop? We see the same issue after OOS on US and UK marketplace ASINs
