How to list books faster?

Currently I am listing them one by one and all my books are 1 each. I do not have multiple copies.

Is there a faster way to list them then just simply click on sell and then fill out the blanks?

Get a barcode scanner.

Makes listing books quickly.

If you have a pro account you can do bulk uploads using templates.

If you have a pro account, you can use 3P listing software.

If you have an individual account, you can update to pro.

I have pro account

So for the bulk uploads, just enter ISBNs to excel one by one and then upload? In my case that is not possible since the SKU has shelf number and I can not shelf number before hand

3P listing software? Is there a simple cheap one?

No. Just listing your ISBNs will not work.
You will still have to go into each and every book, enter photos, enter descriptions, enter shipping weight and dimensions…
Either way you do this - one by one on Amazon - or, one by one into a template… it’s still the same amount of time typing.

If you sell on just one venue your software is not too important. If you sell on multiple sites it loads your data to each of them and that increases your speed.

One problem I have seen over the years is when two very different books have the same exact ISBN. Years ago I ran in a listing that about half of it was Harlequin romances and the other this tome that only a scholar would love. The ISBN had its beginning numbers the same as all other Harlequin books so they owned that number. One could only assume that the other book printer made a mistake when printing or writing down the ISBN the first time and it never got fixed. I saw that at least once a year. A combo listing with two very different books.

I think that is one of the biggest reasons that I list one by one still even as a pro seller, is wanting to be sure that what I am listing is on the correct page and if the page needs fixed I work on that as well. It takes me a lot of time to list, because I am cleaning up others errors. I prefer not to get SNAD refund requests.
