Yesterday I set up a 20% off promotion on a select number of products, 7 items total. The promotion was supposed to take effect at 4:00pm yesterday and is meant to last all of January, however this morning the item prices don’t appear to have been changed to reflect the discount…
Am I missing something here?
Thanks for the help.
I can only tell you how it works in books.
The listed price does not change. A bolded text “X% discount taken at checkout”* appears in the “Price + Shipping” column.
*that might not be the exact language
It shows during checkout… you can also change settings on that.
They changed promotions last year so its almost like a secret until you check out. The only way to get a promotion to display up front on the product page and on your thumb nail is to do a coupon. This is because amazon makes you pay $.60 per redemption for coupons. So they bury sales to force you to pay them to use coupons. Cool right?
the on product promotions just arent made to stand out on amazon.
I’d try the promo code ones and offering those, much likely a lot higher conversion rate for the same or less cost
