With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we are wondering, if you could invite anyone, living or historical, to your Thanksgiving dinner, who would it be and why?

I will start. I would love to see my grandpa on my moms side of the family. I have always heard what an amazing man he was. I would have loved to get to meet him and know him myself.

I can't wait to see who everyone else would like to see at their table. It can be anyone that you want.

Amazon's Mistake Decimated My Sales and Income

See the screenshot attached to understand how much loss is involved due to Amazon's incompetence.

I invented and make my own product called "The Moon Ring." I own all IP (patent, copyright, trademark), and have been selling on Amazon since 2015. In that time I grew annual sales to a dependable 6 figures without any advertising. We were featured on The Bachelorette, Howard Stern, etc. and eventually made it to #1 in the Gag gift category.

Lack of UL4200a compliance certification took my product down in May of this year. I had it tested/certified immediately, submitted the passing test results to Amazon, and was denied without reason. The only information I was given in the rejection notice is shown below.

"The compliance documents that you submitted are not the documents we require. To move forward with the approval process, please submit a full test report from a ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. Please note that we are not looking for Technical Reports, Inspection Service Reports, Constructional Data Reports or Protocol Testing Reports for your products. "

I had the UL4200a test/certification performed by TUV SUD America (the largest, most legit product testing lab on Earth). When I told them about the rejection they couldn't believe it. They apologized and were very accommodating, making every possible change I suggested to get the test approved. We iterated the test format 6 times, adding new images, names of all the lab technicians, etc. and each and every time we re-submitted, we were rejected with the same cryptic message as shown above. I begged for an explanation from "consumer-buttoncell@amazon.com," multiple times, and of course, no response.

It wasn't until November (6 months later) that I was able to show the test results to Stephen Lee, the small business ombudsman at the CPSC that I figured out the problem. Well, HE figured out the problem...

TUV SUD America adds the heading "Technical Report," to all of their "Test Reports." Apparently that's just the way they do it, and no other professional organization has EVER had a problem with it. Stephen Lee suggested I ask TUV SUD to change the word, "Technical," to the word, "Test."

They made the change. I submitted, and passed. My listing is finally live again.

So basically, I lost somewhere in the ballpark of $60k and all of my sales rank because Amazon's review team at "consumer-buttoncell@amazon.com," couldn't identify a passing test report merely because it had the word, "Technical," written in the heading.

If I lost $60k, that means Amazon lost AT LEAST $9k in seller fees, which of course in the grand scheme of all things Amazon is petty cash, but I'm quite certain that I'm not the only one who's suffered an absurdly unnecessary loss due to Amazon's incompetent staff. In short, dear Amazon, I guess you get what you pay for. Or rather you DON'T get what you DON'T pay for. So here's an idea; if you're going to insist we submit legal documents for review, you should probably make sure you hire people who understand legal documents to review them. Otherwise, we both lose.

And the losses continue. My sales rank is very slowly inching higher, but I sincerely doubt it will achieve anywhere near top 100 status soon and Nov/Dec is typically when I do over half my yearly sales. Take a look at the screenshot attached to understand the level of loss I'm talking about. It's insane. But as usual, according to the reps at SC, "I'm sorry sir, there's nothing we can do."

This has been one of those things that are SO BAD you don't even get angry, ya know what I mean? Like, if your bike gets a flat tire, you might slam a door or scream obscenities and turn into Yosemite Sam while you change it, but if that same bike gets stolen out of your garage, you just look around and go, "huh..."

Amazon publishes the temperature range for fba temperatures in their meltable policies for summer months. What are the temperature ranges for winter? If a warehouse storage can get as hot as 155 f. Then how cold can get it get during frigid days and nights?

Can we please get a Mod to look at our Account and case # ID 16698160421? We cannot get through to a real person, the email they keep giving us (pars-rp-core-sellerappeals-transfer@amazon.com) sends automated responses, it seems like they are not looking at the attached screenshots. Our entire catalog is getting marked as a restricted product to every single state in the United States, not just some states. We see hundreds of other sellers selling similar products both Handmade and FBA, and when we looked, it allows them to ship to all the same locations just fine. Customers are emailing us that they can see our products but when they go to purchase, they all say "Currently Unavailable". Our Sponsored Ads are still running, and they are still charging us the money from the ADS, but customers cannot purchase anything. There is only the one email address for this issue and no phone numbers. We are wondering if it is because when we set up the listings 7 years ago, they were in the Handmade Category of Guild, Toys and Games, Sporting Goods, Gun Holsters. We cannot change the category of the established listings. It's like the Handmade migration process or new listing experience caused us to get flagged. We have never had a problem in 7 years, and now sales have stopped as of the last 2 weeks. Can any Mods help?

The order was delivered on time and at the right location. Delivered on NOV 27th, 2024.

Case ID: 16736605951

We used Amazon Shipping service and We also used the 2-day UPS service for the shipment. We don't understand why we received a bad feedback from the customer.

We shipped it the next business day with tracking updated by UPS

Customer complains "The seller is a cheat I paid $23 for expedited delivery which should have been today, now they say it might be here by Dec 3 no explanation no refund, Do NOT do business with these cheats they are stealing people's money"

We requested feedback removal and were denied.

Can someone help us?

Viewing it LIVE in Amazon search. My handmade listings are being moved into the WRONG categories in the marketplace. My stethoscope tag is NOT an office product! It is a stethoscope accessory under Industrial & Scientific / Professional Medical Supplies / Diagnostics & Screening / Stethoscope Accessories

Opened a case 16729114431 as I noticed 1 earlier and now in looking at my handmade listings, they are all being moved and are in office products. This would explain why we are suddenly selling our handmade items this morning. I am grateful for finally being visible but at least reclassify them correctly!

My funds have been held in the "Account Level Reserve" for almost 14 days, and I’ve had two money transfers come through as "0." I haven’t received any emails from Amazon explaining why this is happening.

We’ve called 5 times and created multiple cases (16737009631, 16736822491, 16729618951, 16723200361, 16709813551, etc.), but still no clear answers from Amazon.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? What steps can we take to resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Images don't ever update

Hello,

I have been attempting to update the images on my listing for a few weeks now. No matter what I do or changes I make in seller central the images on Amazon. I reached out to Amazon support and they said it's because I am no longer a "winning contributor" and someone merged my ASIN with a different one.

I am brand registered. This is MY listing and MY images.

How can Amazon allow someone else to take over control of my listing if I am brand registered?

Help! Seller support is absolutely useless as usual.
