FBA return intiated but customer never returned product


Once 45 days have elapsed from the time a refund is issued to the customer we typically get automatic reimbursement from FBA for the order if the customer never returned the product. However, this reimbursement does not include the pick and pack fees FBA charges us when the original refund was issued.

Does anyone have success getting the pick and pack fee refunded in a case where the customer initiated a return but never returned the product?

In other words, can we get a reimbursement equal to the debit to our account from the customer refund?


No, not going to happen … Amazon always gets the theirs… You’re lucky to get any credit - I feel at times…

You would feel much worse if Amazon themselves actually lost it-- and decided to give you $0.98 for it…

Smile, and just think you came away with part of your clothes, after the experience… including your shorts…


Have you tried requesting it in this scenario and if so, what was their response?

When it’s one unit it’s not a big deal, but when the customer orders multiple units, starts a return but never returns them it becomes a significant amount of money.
