Error in Build International listing

My product activated on amazon.com(US). I am trying to sell in all of North America with also includes Mexico and Canada. I would also like to sell internationally in the UK (with all 6 on its locations) but when I go to build international listing it tell me to create ASIN detail pages in the Amazon.ca catalog. So does that mean I have to add a product listing to amazon.ca and it will have a different ASIN then the product the listing in amazon.com, (US) when it the same product?

I’ve been trying to figure out the exact same thing! From what I can tell, yes we have to create a new listing which will give it a new ASIN number but I’m not 100% sure if that’s accurate.
I’m curious if you found a definitive answer since posting this?
