‘Tis the Season for Solstice Celebration!

We hope you’ve been enjoying the challenges and are following each daily event in the main Seller Solstice Celebration thread. We’re getting close to the big day, but you still have time to get entries for the daily drawing and the Grand Prize!

Account deactivated since March 2024

My account has been deactivated since March 2024 ( apparently it has been used for "deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity" per them). I have tried multiple times to appeal, with no success. All I Am told is- We don't have enough information to remove the violation at this time. Am in the same loop- inventory cannot be removed because account is deactivated, Amazon won't reactivate my account and keeps charging me storage fee. At this point, I have given up all hope and am ready to just let Amazon keep/dispose my inventory and stop all storage charges. Does anybody know how long will Amazon keep charging me these storage fee? Is there a stated policy on this- how long will I be charged? I Really wish Amazon could be more helpful and tell us what they need exactly, and which piece of information they don't have or have doubts about. Thanks,

Not Being Charged Handmade Fee

I listed the same earrings at the same price; one I listed with the old handmade template, and one I listed with the new template, and I made sure to mark it as handmade as we were instructed in order to be charged the reduced handmade fee. However, the fee estimate shows I will be charged more for the one listed the new way. Is this a glitch?

PRODUCTS BEING RETURNED IN USED CONDITION

Looking for help from other FBM sellers.

We receive a TON of cosmetics/health & beauty returns where the buyer has "tried" the product and fraudulently returns it NO LONGER IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. They lie and claim there are issues with the product when there are not and of course, always choose a seller faulted reason for the return reason. Since we are forced to participate in full refund at first scan (& have opted out of free returns), we must spend large amounts of time filing Safe T Claims to get reimbursed for the return shipping and legit restocking fees we are due that were incorrectly refunded. However, we keep getting denied - most of the time with NO explanation as to why. Sometimes they just reply "There is no reimbursement due on this order". The most popular answer we receive is - "The refund was issued for the order in accordance the return preferences on your account. For more information how to set your return preferences, visit "Set your return preferences"

Can anyone please help to provide verbiage so these can successfully be appealed? I am so frustrated!!!

Problems with listing-Moderator please help

Amazon moderator please help!!

Years ago Amazon had me use my company name, Spectral Sales, for the "brand" area because I sell many different types of sports cards. Yesterday, I tried to do a new listing and I am getting an error on brand aspect. I don't understand what has changed because no one has given me an answer. Again, Amazon specifically told me to use my company name years ago and it has worked until yesterday.

2024 HOLIDAY HOURS FOR THE USPS

ATTENTION ALL FBM SELLERS:

I just read the 8.5x11 paper that my Post Office has taped to the service windows that showed the USPS Holiday Hours for 2024.

USPS is CLOSED on December 25th (as one would expect).

USPS closes EARLY on December 24th, AT NOON.

This means that all the orders we receive Friday-Sunday, that WILL be required to be in the Carrier's possession by close of business Tuesday, 12-24-24 MUST be in the Carrier's Possession BY NOON Tuesday, 12/24/24.

This represents a LOSS of 5 working hours to complete processing of all orders received during the weekend.

SO, PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

I am already preparing for a Night Shift on Monday to compensate for the loss of 5 working hours on Tuesday.

I hope this reaches you all in-time.

Next day shipping refund

Customer has ordered and paid for next day shipping. We shipped promptly and the delivery was attempted the next day but the customer was not home and the customer picked up the package the next day

Customer has returned the product. We issued refund for the product but not for the shipping. Customer contacted Amazon directly and customer service issued refund for next day shipping. We did not find it fair as we were out of the money since it went to the carrier for next day shipping.

We filed a Safe-T claim asking for reimbursement Case 16876835491 but were denied.

Did we approach it the right way and if so we will probably stop offering next day shipping as it's too much money we are out of and it's not worth it. Please advise.

Bought Amazon Buy Shipping for order, shipped a day early, was delivered late by USPS, "says" it's covered as per the rules and the display on the order page.

OTDR hit because it was late.

I know it is only a 14 day hit, but, you guys need to do better.

Another seller made a counterfeit complaint

We are dealing with another seller who has submitted two Intellectual Property Complaints, claiming to be brand owner of product and claiming our product is counterfeit. They are just a seller of the product and there are 2 other sellers on the listing also. The product is manufactured by another company. Anyone deal with this ? We provided an invoice of product we purchased from an authorized distributor and Amazon reactivated our listing. Now they have submitted another false counterfeit complaint, which has blocked us from the ASIN. For Amazon Mods, our case number is 16876458291

In short, the other seller is not the brand owner and appears to wanna limit competition.

Edit: We went to brand registry and appears we can create our own ASIN of the brand name. Wonder if the other seller did this same thing and has "rights" on the ASIN ? Any guidance is appreciated.

PSA for other sellers regarding ODTR

tl;dr - make sure to change your shipping settings to account for "SSA"

I thought i had 'enrolled' into ODTR protection by enabling AHT. Apparently not, i needed to go into my shipping settings as well and change some stuff on SSA. All of our labels had said "ODTR Protected" and thought we were good. but apparently not.

imo - not very intuitive UX Amazon..

Buy Shipping Label Printing Help Please

Hello,

Any help appreciated. I use Buy Shipping and print to a thermal zp450 using Amazon Print Connect.

Zero issues for years then today clicking "buy shipping" completed the order as usual with posted tracking in the order but failed to print label.

Some orders were also switched from the usual zpl format to pdf.

I had to refund the label, get a new label using stamps.com, then put new tracking back into the order. plus I lose buy shipping protection.

I replicated this on 2 different standalone computers and 2 diff printers.

Any help appreciated.
