Starting January 31, 2018, advertising reports will no longer be returned by Amazon MWS. If you have an application that requires programmatic access to a seller’s Amazon Sponsored Products campaign information, you can use the Amazon Advertising API to programmatically manage Sponsored Products campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, bids, and budgets. When you sign up on the Amazon Advertising API page, be sure to indicate in the Comments field that you are an Amazon MWS developer to receive priority access.
The removal of access to the advertising reports through Amazon MWS and the transition to the Amazon Advertising API are a result of upgrades we are doing on our advertising data services. As we are performing these updates, you may see some data discrepancies between advertising reports in the Sponsored Products campaign manager and data in advertising reports returned by Amazon MWS. We recommend adopting the Amazon Advertising API as soon as possible to take advantage of faster, more responsive, and accurate data services.
