Short story… App was not working Wednesday and Thursday, and when I logged in on Saturday, I saw that an order placed on Thursday was supposed to be shipped out on Friday, I shipped the order and it will arrive on time. Should I be worried that this order is going to cause problems for my holiday selling metrics?
Also, is that correct that orders are supposed to ship out on Friday the day after Thanksgiving?
Friday after Thanksgiving is and has always been a shipping day.
If the order ship by date was Nov 27 and you did not ship on that date then it is a late shipment.
You may luck out as Amazon stated they were going to take care of the metrics due to the glitch. Not sure if that will include Friday or not.
One late shipment, should not be that impactful unless you have really low volume.
