What is Transparency?

The Transparency program helps brands stop inaccurate and counterfeit products, improve customer engagement, and gain valuable insights into their supply chain. With Transparency, you can:

  • Verify product authenticity: Use unique codes to ensure that only authentic, accurate items are shipped to customers. Whether they’re fulfilled by Amazon or shipped directly by a seller, your products can’t be sold in the Amazon store without this Transparency protection.
  • Engage with customers: Connect with customers post-purchase. Both the Amazon Shopping and Transparency apps allow customers to scan codes to confirm authenticity and access promotions, videos, posts, or other content about their item.
  • Optimize your supply chain: Get additional insights on your units at the batch or lot level, helping you identify supply chain issues, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions with minimal disruption to your business.

Order was purchased on Tuesday September 17th at 10AM, I dropped off the package on Wednesday September 18th at 7:46 AM, September 20th package was held by UPS because APT number is incorrect or missing, order arrived on Sept 25th when I got everything resolved with UPS, buyer got refunded because order arrived too late? Below is the attachment of buyer getting refunded / me emailing him asking him to send it back because I do not do a returnless refund, also opened 2 safe T claim and both got denied after going back and forth. Please someone help me, I cannot lose ~$600 just because UPS delayed the package. (date on picture may differ because I got a call from UPS since the 20th)

I got notification on my account health page restricted product policy violation

I removed my listing even i didn't sell any product on my amazon account i created new listing but now it is deleted

it is still on my account why amazon is not removing this violation

even there is no option submit new appeal when i am clicking on it

it is taking me to case log there is no option to submit new appeal what can i do now/

I'm trying to register my brand in the Amazon Brand Registry, but for brand registration, I have to write down the serial number that is issued when applying for a trademark in the USPTO, right? But I'm not applying for a trademark in the USTPO, but in Madrid. In this case, how do I register my brand in the Amazon Brand Registry?

My account has been deactivated due to Suspected Intellectual Property Violations. The products I purchased are from a legitimate business, one being Wal-Mart. I have submitted the receipts several times but get a form letter from Amazon telling me there isn't enough information. There is no longer a way to have someone call me to discuss. I am not sure what to do as I have had this issue for 6 months now. Anypme know how to solve this issue or how to get in contact with a real human at Amazon??

Hi Fellow Sellers,

I’m dealing with a frustrating issue with my Seller Central account and could really use advice from anyone who has faced something similar. Here’s what happened:

On November 1st, my browser was compromised in what I believe was a cookie attack. The attacker recreated my browser session, which allowed them to log into any saved accounts. While they weren’t able to access my Seller Central account directly due to 2FA, they did get into the buyer Amazon.com account connected to it and placed a fraudulent order for $1,600 (and also signing up for Prime).

I noticed immediately, contacted Amazon to report the fraud, and took action by resetting all my passwords and updating my payment methods.

Now, I’m locked out of my Seller Central account. When I try to log in, I get a “billing verification required” message, and my orders are on hold. The only email I’ve received from Amazon said I could either pay the $1,600 for the fraudulent order or request a review of my account. I chose the review option, but it’s been over 2 weeks, and I haven’t heard back or received any further instructions.

Luckily, my accountant has almost full access to Seller Central with their account, which has allowed us to keep some operations going. However, I’m still at a loss on how to fix my admin account issue and get full control back.

This account is my main source of income, and I’m really stuck. Has anyone experienced something similar? How long did it take for Amazon to resolve it? Is there any way to expedite this process or reach someone who can help?

I appreciate any guidance or tips you can offer!

Case ID: 16697087211

Our two items on the case ID are not in buy box even though we are the only ones selling on Amazon. It is competitive in pricing and no one else is selling lower on any other channels or websites.

Also, what is the criteria on "competitive pricing"? Considering no one else can sell it at a much lower price to compete against amazon pricing.

The lack of buy box hurts us on advertising where it cannot show sponsored product ads and cannot show for one click buy either.

Can someone take a look at that case and see what is the reason for not being in the buy box?

From July 2023 through Nov 14, 2024 (17 months), I sold virtually nothing by FBM, despite having quite a few active offers. I don't know what changes Amazon made in mid November 2024, but now I'm seeing quite a few FBM offers (21 orders in the last 6 days) and many of them have issues. The most concerning issue is when I have a Buyer creates an FBA order, and Amazon changes it to an FBM order. Where I only set up an FBA offer and have sent all of my inventory to an Amazon warehouse, I don't have any way to fill these redirected orders.

(following is an excerpt from my messages to Amazon today)

I keep trying to contact Amazon Seller Support via the 'Call Me Now' function, but I am never called. I see a message on the Call Me Now page saying they are connecting and I should answer my phone, then the message changes to say the call has disconnected and that I should call back if I still have questions. During this time, my phone has not rung, and my call log shows no incoming calls at all. The phone number I have provided is correct, and I receive calls regularly from others, so I know my phone is working properly - this is definitely not user error. I resorted to the chat function, and have spent over 7 hours this week on chats with Seller Support, trying to resolve these order issues, but the Amazon personnel (or bots) have not provided any specific explanations or guidance. They keep giving me vague generalities about 3rd party software and bulk updates, neither of which I use. They appear to be using a library of canned responses, and the personnel are unable to explain the responses they send me. Amazon has advised me to cancel problematic orders, which I have done. Now, Amazon is threatening to deactivate my account due to cancellation statistics.

It is clear that, on or about 11/15/24, Amazon had a code release which was not fit for purpose. The new code modified Amazon's order handling workflow improperly, creating chaos for the Sellers. Amazon Seller Support's "Call Me Now" voice option has been disabled abruptly, with no updated messaging. No doubt, this is due to an overwhelming volume of calls from Sellers who are trying to cope with the fallout of the bad code release.

Does Amazon Give China Sellers and Unfair Advantage?

It's been a constant battle for our company to stay ahead of Amazon sellers from overseas.

Fortunately we're in a market segment that allows us develop new products at a reasonable cost. Constant improvements and new product launches have helped us compete against sellers from China whose prices seem to defy the cost of raw materials.

This week I talked with a product manager from a US company that invented a complex item that became a big product segment on Amazon. Their product cost a fortune to develop– yet today the product category that they invented is flooded with knockoffs from China– sold on Amazon under a hundred different brand names.

Unable to enforce their US utility patents against so many small, infringing overseas sellers, that US innovator may soon go bankrupt.

Their product manager feels certain that Amazon gives unfair advantages to overseas copycats.

An example he cited is that Amazon sellers can no longer respond publicly to reviews. This puts that US company– with its trained support personnel who have good communication skills– at a disadvantage against the onslaught of tiny overseas importers who sell primarily on price.

Are there other examples where it seems like Amazon gives China sellers an unfair advantage?

Problem with USPS Ground Advantage (Less than 1 lb) being flagged as Late Delivery Risk even though the same service was used to calculate Delivery Promise with a ship date of today. We have this happening on over 100 orders today. One example is 114-5418683-6780248, because of this we are not able to print the labels through Teapplix our 3P Shipping Label service. Again, we have over 100 orders with this happening on today all with ship date of today 11/15 so this is very urgent. If we're trying to use the same service as used for the delivery promise, it shouldn't be flagged as Late Delivery Risk.
