How can I do a bulk modification (edit) to the product description. Is that possible?

I already have added products to my inventory. However, I have changed the name of one of the products and its’ description. I need to change all of the names and variations for this particular product. I created a custom template and I have an Inventory which gave me the two spreadsheets to work with. I am not sure I can make edits to name and description. I just want to check this method works.

I’m not sure you can do this. ASINs are assigned by your title when you first added them to the catalog. Making title changes must be done by opening a case, that must be approved by the catalog team, with you proving why the titles need changed.
