Daily Inventory History: What Does "*XFR" mean under the FC column?

by Seller_CqJio3GyBXUjH

Under the Daily Inventory History Report… what does *XFR mean under the FC column?

I suspect that Amazon shipped another sellers inventory to a customer and think the *XFR code means they transferred it from another seller. This is the only place I can find this code and I’ve been looking everywhere. Can someone confirm that this code *XFR means that it is Transferred from another seller? It looks highly suspicious because all the other codes under the FC (Fulfillment Center) Column is actual Fulfillment Center codes.

If you also know where other reports that refer to this *XFR code for Fulfillment Centers… I’d appreciate the heads up on where to look.

Thanks!

XFR is a transfer from one FC to another. You should be able to see a -x and then track that to a +x (where x= the number if units) when the transfer is complete. To see an overview of the FC movement/transfers, define the FNSKU and an event date range filter, and it’ll give you a better picture of where your inventory is.

Hope this helps!
