Amazon Account deactivated for selling authentic products - Is this fair?

by Seller_aNFECKa7kU9zc

Here is one example how amazon seller performance team deactivated legitimate seller account:

Aug 3, 2019
Account suspended even we send proof that all of our products are authentic.

August 7, 2019
Amazon reinstated all ASINs they keep saying counterfeits.

Sep 16, 2019
Received e-mail from amazon ‘We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we decided that you may no longer sell on Amazon.com.’

We send many e-mails to amazon but it seems like no one at amazon reviewed our e-mails.

Amazon has right to remove our selling privilege if we sell counterfeits products.
But all of our products are from amazon approved suppliers.

We are looking forward to hear from amazon on this case.
Please suggest if there is anything we can do.
Thank you.

Sell Only Authentic and Legal Products. It is your responsibility to source, sell, and fulfill only authentic products that are legal for sale.

Maintain and Provide Inventory Records. Amazon may request that you provide documentation (such as invoices) showing the authenticity of your products or your authorization to list them for sale. You may remove pricing information from these documents, but providing documents that have been edited in any other way or that are misleading is a violation of this policy and will lead to enforcement against your account.

Failure to abide by this policy may result in loss of selling privileges, funds being withheld, destruction of inventory in our fulfilment centers, and other legal consequences.

Accept the fact that Amazon does not want you selling whatever it is you are selling.
Provide invoices proving authenticity delete from your inventory and move on.

Cant argue with them once they say…

‘We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we decided that you may no longer sell on Amazon"

We just want amazon to be fair. Amazon need to proof that we are selling counterfeits products. Our supplier even contact amazon on our behalf. Our supplier is not from third world country, even amazon purchased merchandise from them.

CJ_Tomes your right.
We provided proof including invoices.
This is not something we are making story to get sympathy at this open forum.
We are trying to get amazon attention that whoever working at seller performance department are not doing their job properly. Today they suspended us tomorrow other legitimate sellers.

Was the reason of the suspension Customer Product Authenticity Complaints?

When appealing, you don’t need to say that you sold inauthentic items. Just tell Amazon what you believe made the buyers to complain about this issue and what will you do to prevent additional complaints.

Also, I would advise you to check out my thread with detailed instructions how to successfully appeal Customer Product Condition Complaints. The subject is “Used Sold As New”, but the base is the same:

Used Sold As New complaints - listings blocked - appealed in 30 minutes.

It would be helpful if you posted the original suspension notice along with all appeals submitted and Amazon’s responses.

Is this fair?<<

In some respects Amazon is a bit old-fashioned. Unlike Little League games these days where all the players get participation trophys and all teams are congratulated as if they had won the top place, that is considered the ‘NEW’ fair. You agreed to work here on Amazon and follow their rules. Whether their rules are ‘fair’ or not has no bearing on the case. Sorry that you find yourself in this situation, but in business fairness is not a guiding principle in most cases.

i can’t wait for the day i get that letter. not sure if i would fight it or be happy the craziness is over. Also sell on ebay and never have any issues, get a english speaking agent every time and the best part is when the post office says delivered…its delivered. selling on ebay is a breeze.
