[Advertising API] Invalid scope - Unknown scope was requested
I have a whitelisted app for Advertising API (i.e approved for Advertising API )which I try to obtain oauth tokens for. I’ve followed this process but get the following error returned from the oauth server:
- error_description=An+unknown+scope+was+requested
- error=invalid_scope
I tried switching to another scope (scope=profile) in which case the query executes nicely and I get a token and refresh_token back.

Your request is failing because your application is not yet whitelisted for Amazon Advertising scope (cpc_advertising:campaign_management).
When you signed up here (https://advertising.amazon.com/API#sign_up). Did you receive an email from Amazon Advertising that you are whitelisted?
